Specific Activities

1. Recruit and help people for service in areas of need.

2. Help applicants discern whether an assignment to another local Church is the right step for them.

3. Provide the accepted applicants with an orientation to missionary service in areas of theology / ecclesiology, mission spirituality, global awareness of social and economic issues, mission area study and health care.

4. Facilitate the individual's own choice of work and location.

5. Keep in contact with returned lay missionaries, helping them to re-adjust to, and to share their mission experiences with the local church.
